Von der Schule und von meinen Lehrerinnen, Amanda und Jenny, bin ich völlig begeistert, wie sie den Unterricht mit Kompetenz und Humor gestalten... die ganze Schule ist sehr familiär und unkompliziert. Ich fühlte mich sofort zu Hause. Das Alter der Schüler ist super durchmischt. Ich, 68, komme nächstes Jahr wieder und dann für mind. 4 Wochen.

My partner and I had the most incredible experience at ABC - Scuola di lingua e cultura italiana in Sestri Levante! We took the Intensive Duetto Course, and from the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and supported by everyone at the school. A huge thank you to Monica and Marina, who are truly exceptional teachers and wonderful people. Their warmth, patience, and deep knowledge of the Italian language and culture made every lesson engaging and enjoyable. They have a way of making learning fun, interactive, and incredibly effective—even when tackling tricky grammar concepts! Beyond the classroom, the school's immersive approach allowed us to experience Italian culture firsthand. Whether through conversations, activities, or simply enjoying the stunning surroundings of Sestri Levante, we felt completely inspired and motivated to continue our Italian language journey. I went to the school in October of 2023. It is a wonderful school, with great location. Teachers are patient, kind and knowledgeable. They teach in a way that makes learning enjoyable. Monica the manager of the facility is professional and fun. She sets the marvelous atmosphere for the school. She is also a wonderful cook. Don't miss out on the student activities, such as visiting neighboring cities, cooking classes, eating together in local restaurants. On your own the school location is next to a beach, and their are ample hiking trails nearby. I highly recommend the ABC Language School in Sestri Levante.

Ich kann diese Schule nur empfehlen! Die Lehrer sind klasse, der Kurs war spannend und anspruchsvoll, aber hat auch viel Spaß gemacht. Die Bucht ist direkt vor der Tür, sodass man in den Pausen schwimmen gehen kann. Ich hatte sehr viel Spaß und komme gerne wieder!

Teachers were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The school building is located on the lovely Bay of Silence. Nice, quick and inexpensive sandwich shop (Le Delizie della Baia) 5-minute walk from the school). Course was challenging but enjoyable. I would do it again. Good choice.

Wonderful experience. Great teachers. The director, teachers, and courses were all wonderful. It was a great opportunity to learn Italian in a open environment.

The ABC School Sestri Levante is perfectly organized and absolutely professional. Together with my workmate I took part of the Language School ABC Sestri Levante. Our trip started on August 15th at 10:00 a.m. from Innsbruck. It takes about six hours to drive to Sestri Levante. Once there, we were warmly welcomed by our host family. Our host mother works as a teacher in the language school, so she could give us some tips and describe the daily routine. Each of us had our own room but we shared the bathroom. The host family was very friendly and delivered everything every morning so that we could prepare breakfast ourselves. From Monday to Friday we visited the language school from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In the first two hours we had grammar lessons in different classes with a maximum of five students. So the teachers of our language levels could respond according to our questions and difficulties. This lesson was followed by a double conversation session in which we were able to try out different speaking occasions and conversation games. After the lunch break, we got a private lesson in which we had the opportunity to further develop our language skills and to work on didactic material together. The teachers at the language school were very competent, always well prepared, but also very flexible with regard to the development of the topics. There was also a lot on offer outside of the language school: cooking courses, excursions to other cities, hikes, city tours, bike and umbrella rental, etc. All in all, the language course was a great enrichment, as we were able to acquire a lot of new things in terms of language and culture.

Superb experience in a beautiful location with professional teachers. I really enjoyed the grammar teaching by quality teachers in a beautiful setting. Staying in a private home allowed me to improve my Italian, to create links and to share the daily life of my host. The location was simply magical, the whole region is superb. The conversation classes were perhaps a little less interesting from a learning point of view, but certainly necessary.

Thank you to Danielle and Sara for making the classes so informative and fun! The School is in a beautiful setting overlooking the bay, with lovely Cafes and restaurants. Would recommend Monica's cookery class, good fun & great food! Would love to come back next year!

Una scuola meravigliosa! Very motivated, kind and open teachers. Greatly organised excursions and entertaining seminaries.

Last summer I decided to brush up my Italian by taking the standard group course. I combined one week in Florence with one in Sestri Levante. The school in Sestri is very new, which made it extra special to be a part of the ABC community during my stay. The atmosphere is very informal and you notice that the entire staff is eager to set up a great school by making everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible. And I can say that they succeeded in doing so. Not only are the teachers very professional and the lessons highly instructive, the school also offers extra-curricular activities that include lectures, boat trips and dinners together. This way you have the chance to get to know everyone in the school and as every activity is accompanied by a staff member, they will become friends as well. It is at your liberty to join the activities or to lay yourself down on one of the stunning beaches. Sestri Levante is located beautifully on the Ligurian coast and has several beaches to choose from. How’s that for an inspiring study environment! I would recommend ABC School Sestri Levante to everyone who wants to submerge themselves in the Italian language and culture. Because of the small classes, you will learn a lot, make new friends instantly and in addition to that, you will see lots of beautiful places. I know I will definitely go back when I get the chance!

This became a second home to me! I just loved the school and Monica and all of the teachers. The other students were a real mix of ages / nationalities / and lifestyles. The area is stunning and I will be back!!! Thank you!!

Eine familiäre Schule an einer TOP Lage (im Zentrum und am direkt am Meer) mit sehr kompetenten Lehrerinnen, einzigartigem Freizeitprogramm nach der Schule und sehr netten Gastfamilien.

I liked the teachers, their style to teach und their mentality. The School itself is on a very nice place directly situated on the sea. The window of my classroom had also a view to the sea. Very nice! The aktivities are organized by the teachers and I enjoyed very much. The best is, that you have not to pay extra, except the traintickets. I liked the town Sestri Levante. It is larger than a village, situated on the sea (so you feel like being on holiday) and it is calm. My appartment was nice, clean, but nearly 2 km far away from the school. That was the only disadvantage I can say. But I got a bike. I am sure, that I´ll return to ABC.

La scuola era situata in un posto davvero bello e tutti gli insegnanti erano molto amichevoli e gentili. Il modo in cui insegnavano era molto efficace e buono.Informazioni che ritieni siano indispensabili ai futuri studentiUsate il treno per arrivare li, è cosi facile andare dappertutto e vedere posti deliziosi. Credetemi, avete cosi tante possibilità per vedere posti carini, la cosa che vi serve è abbastanza tempo.

Tutti gli insegnanti sono altamente istruiti non solo sulla materia, ma su come insegnare, come spiegare gli argomenti (istruzione psicologica). La vista dalla finestra è sorprendente.

Grazie mille per tutti i giorni a Sestri Levante. Mi è piaciuto molto. Monica è insegnante molto eccellente, un po’ rigorosa e molto amorevole. Anche Paula è molto cara... sono state 2 settimane splendide... spero andare qui prossimo anno, grazie.

Excellent school that puts us in a position to speak italian all day: courses+ activities. Teachers: very good and very available. The school found me a bicycle, because I love to walk with it. As the school is very little we can know every body. I hope to return at this school next years.

Well organized. A Nice athmosphere. Exellent teachers. We were between 4 and 6 in the class which was perfect.

The school provided classes and activities that were challenging and entertaining. The entire program was highly developed and provided professionalism from the curriculum to the extra curricular activities. The teachers were excellent educators. They were creative and challenging adding humor throughout. After class they provided concerts, lectures, cooking classes and excursions. There were many ways to get involved and to meet people from all over the globe. The overall structure was very organized.
